Love Oxford Pastors

Thank you for your partnership, and for advertising Renew Oxford in your church.

We hope that this will be an important event, gathering Christians from across our churches, to help us better understand the current needs of the city, and consider what role we can play in working for the renewal of Oxford. We trust it will be a blessing to all of our churches, strengthening the work we are already doing, as well as catalysing people to serve and collaborate in new ways.

As Love Oxford Pastors, we would value your support in four areas. Would you please:

1. Advertise the event

To assist you in advertising this event to your church, we have created an information and publicity pack, containing event information, slides, and images for use on social media. Please do ask if there is anything else you would find helpful, or if you need things in an alternative format. You can email info@renewoxford.org

Date: Saturday June 18th 2022, 09.30-15.00
Venue: The King’s Centre, Osney Mead, OX2 0ES
Cost: £20 (early bird rate) / £10 concessions

2. Pastors’ Lunch

Please do book in yourselves. We trust this event will help us collaborate as churches for the good of our city, and we will be hosting a lunch for Love Oxford Pastors, at which Lloyd Cook and Russell Rook will speak, and where we can learn from them and consider what effective partnership between churches can look like.

3. Survey

We want to celebrate the good work our churches have done to serve the city during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please would you complete this short survey, which should take 3-4 minutes, the results of which we will share on the day. If appropriate, feel free to delegate this to someone who coordinates social action within your church.

If you have particular stories you would like to share, or photographs and video footage you would be happy with us using on the day, please email them to us at info@renewoxford.org

4. Pray

Please do pray that this event would be a blessing to our churches, strengthening the work we’re already doing in the city, as well as catalysing people to serve and collaborate in new ways.
